Outdoors, travel, history and education site by two retired Boomers, one of them a teacher. It chronicles our own adventures geocaching, orienteering, letterboxing and other outdoor activities plus our Shiloh ghost story. We hope to promote lifelong learning and curiosity about the world around us, especially in young people. We've got ghost towns, parks, battlefields, Top 10 lists plus a new and growing teacher section. If you are looking for ideas to teach and motivate kids, get them outside and have some fun together, this web site has a lot to offer. There's no armchair traveling here. We've been to every place in this web site and most of the pictures are ours. It's impossible to write about every place we go.
